Lake Thunderbird Sept. 20th, 2008

Our first tournament of the new season on Lake Thunderbird was an enjoyable time. We had near perfect weather with little to no wind. After the weigh-in and awards, we had a good time of fellowship together eating some bbq and fixins and tossing around some fish tales. The fishing was kinda tough as the lake was turning over but we still managed some good stringers.

Finishing in first place and taking home 1st place tropheys and 1st place money and rod holders from Tite lok was the team of RC Coleman and Dustin Sipes. They had a total weight of 22.01 lbs.

Second place went to the team of Aaron Harrell and Earl day. Their 15.26 lb effort won them second place money and rod holders from Tite Lok.

Third place went to the team of Burt Hudson and Carl Jones. The had 13.93 lbs and also had the big fish of the tounament at 4.3 lbs. They took home the big fish jackpot as well as socket sets from O'Reiley Auto Parts and 1 gallon of bait each from CJ's Bait Company.

Fourth place went to Mary Jones and Charles Jones Jr. This was a grandmother-grandson team and they did a fine job weighing-in 9.46 lbs. Their prizes were Jugs from Jugs by Bert and rod holders from Tite Lok.

Fifth place finishers were Bill Groves and Silas Groves with a total weight of 7.72 lbs. They took home prizes courtesy of O'Reily Auto Parts.

Sixth Place went to Brad Trujillo and Jimmy Snow with a total weight of 7.64 lbs. They took home prizes from O'Reily Auto Parts.

Seventh place went to Todd Armstrong and Andrew Vierra with 4.86 lbs.

Eighth place went to Charles and "Z" Jones with 3.88 lbs

Ninth place was Marvin and Carol Williams with 3.15 lbs

Tenth place was Doug Williams and Ron Jones with 1.24 lbs.

Eleventh place was Teddy Armstrong and Edward Miller.
